Prarie Dogs and the HULK

So, tell me, is the sale of prarie dogs a big deal in this country?
Oh, by the way, here's a prediction and remember you heard it here first: this summer's BOMB of a movie will be THE HULK. Count on it. It just looks terrible. Jennifer Connelly shouldn't even go see that movie, much less be starring in it.

High heels, a man named Chew, and a death of Bonds. It's got a TV movie written all over it.
Check out the Ford celebration of 100 years of cars. Apparently no one's bothering to comment on all the losers that have come out of this factory. Anyone remember the Explorer?
Egypt's Queen Nefertiti found. Cool. Unwrap it baby. Let's see what you got under there.

Vacation Recap

Well, that was a long 2 weeks! In reality it's been almost a month (the last updates were made April 14). Time just gets away from us sometimes and blogging is definitely something that builds on inertia. While you're in the habit of doing it, the updates come easy and the time just seems to appear, a little here and a little there, to allow you to get your updates in. But, plan to take 2 weeks off, and it becomes harder to get back into the swing of it.
While away, I experienced the following:
  • Took my first airplane trip since September 11, 2001
  • Subsequently had my first new-style airport screening, with wands and shoe-removal and all that
  • Got to experience of touch of paradise, called Ft.Lauderdale / Pompano Beach, Florida
  • Finally got to shake the cold off my bones
  • Ate Sushi from a supermarket (I was desperate)
  • Took an airboat ride through the Florida Everglades
  • Saw a man wrestle an alligator (well, actually he just kinda pissed it off a lot)
  • Ate alligator meat at an interesting restaurant called Crabby Jacks (check it out if there's one near you)
  • Went to a theme park and got to commune with a 6 ft. tall mouse
  • Checked out Universal Studios theme park and had a blast!
  • Went to Sea World and videotaped virtually everything
  • Re-kindled my love of sports and of watching sports on TV
  • Got to get away from everything computer- or tech-related, including email
  • Became interested in golf
That's it for the recap. Tommorrow it's on with the usual updates.
